Mathematician

As part of the game development team, Mathematician creates and designs online games for the gambling industry. They should also take responsibility for developing mathematical models for slot games, balancing games to reach the required player experience, validating games’ behaviour with developers. Some of the primary duties are providing detailed mathematical models for slot games and other game features and offering detailed analysis and explanation of mathematical models.

Necessary Skills

• At least 2 year of successful work as a game mathematician
• University degree in STEM field (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science) or equivalent
• Talent for solving abstract and highly complex math problems
• Interest in slot games both from a developer and gamble player point of view
• Ability to quickly prototype rough ideas

Desired Skills

• Motivated by challenges and stretch goals
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Data-driven and analytical mindset in decision-making
• Scripting skills, any programming language
• Good understanding of main programming paradigms
• Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and curiosity
